Good Teaching

Everyone has had at some point of their education a teacher who influenced them and made an impact on them in some way. While many people have different points of view on what qualities a good teacher must have, everyone has a similar set of ideas. For example, a first grade classroom was questioned about what they like about their teacher, and coincidentally, their ideas were very similar to college studetns. So what do you think are the qualities of a good teacher?

Technology and Teaching

Technology is advancing at a very fast pace. With these technological advances, there is a lot of debate over its involvement in education. Many people think that technology and internet are negative influences to young children and they should not be incorporated in the classroom. However, many people beleive that our world is so reliant on technology that it is necessary to educate our studetns about it in the classroom. Do you think technology should be taught in the classroom?

Teaching and Diversity

Diversity is becoming more common within our country. How will teachers support the different ethnic, cultural and religious groups that many of their students belong to?
